What a wonderful few days in the Aberdares relaxing and fishing. Sean and I enjoyed a special time together and with you. Every detail was attended to, especially guiding us to rivers and remote streams where there was always trout. Your experience was most helpful in navigating the dense undergrowth and steep terrain, and in selecting flies that always interested the fish!

The Fishing Lodge was the perfect setting to enjoy our time. The meals were just right for the venue and were most timely in the preparation. I particularly enjoyed the fellowship and conversation. Thanks for facilitating a wonderful and memorable adventure.

My boyfriend and I had the experience of a lifetime booking through Conway’s Africa. I have been on safari before but it was my boyfriend’s first time. Andrew and Micah Conway recommended a few different options that suited us and we settled on one in the Maasai Mara’s Naboisho Conservancy which they assured us would have plenty of animals roaming free. We ended up staying at Encounter Mara. This was nothing like previous safaris I had been on where half the day is spent just trying to spot a herd of animals. During our stay, we found elephants and giraffes so quickly, we hadn’t even unpacked our cameras yet! We spent four spectacular days going on game drives and enjoying some of the best wildlife viewings I’ve ever experienced. The transportation and logistics were all planned and fitted our needs perfectly. I highly recommend booking with Conway’s Africa. Everything on our trip went smoothly and I felt reassured that if something had gone wrong, Conway’s Africa would have been ready and able to help. They take care of every detail so that once you arrive, you can switch entirely into vacation mode and leave all of your cares behind!

Overall Safari Experience
We have just returned from our first five day safari and still cannot get the sights and sounds of our adventure out of our minds. Every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations from the game viewing, to the lodging, to the dining, to the guiding… everything was superb and perfect. Until we return, we will be transforming barking dogs into baboons and zebras, pretending deep noises are lion roars, and imagining chattering songbirds as alarmed by a leopard. Life will feel a little less rich into we return for smother safari with Conway’s Africa.

Guide Review
Our safari group of five ranged in ages from 11 to 73 and covered avid nature show enthusiasts to rank newcomers. Andrew was a consummate professional who was able express his knowledge in a manner which connected with everyone in the group. While Andrew’s knowledge and charisma were unrivaled, his unbridled passion for guiding and sharing Africa were what really made our experience special. We are already making plans to safari with Andrew again.

It was truly a blessing to be introduced to Andrew and Conway’s Africa. Andrew took a half formed concept (let’s go on safari), and transformed it into a masterful experience which was equal parts adventure, luxury, and education. Andrew saved us from byzantine labyrinth of safari options and crafted a headache free, multi destination safari which my family will remember and treasure forever. We are already making plans to safari with Andrew again.
